Travel through old mines, picturesque forests, treeless summit of the local mountain and mystical marshes in the heart of reindeer herding areas. If nature provide you will spot much more wildlife signs right there in front of you. This unforgettable 5-day hike in pure and fresh Lapland wilderness is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
At one point of the hike, you will feel connected to nature more than ever. This pure kindness and warmth that nature gives us is something everybody should feel. If you are up to it you can take a swim in some of the fresh lakes.

Program

| Meet us in Kokträsk, Malå, or we will pick you up from Arvidsjaur, Skellefteå, Luleå airport (or another airport in a 200 km radius of Kokträsk). By the end of the, we'll be in the forest, enjoying our first fire-cooked meal. | Our journey will lead us through the remnants of the first old mine, with a high chance of meeting magnificent reindeer herds in their natural habitat. Following the path of the Skellefteå river, we'll witness its unique feature as part of it disappears underground. As night falls, we will set up camp near another ancient mine. |

| Now it's time to stretch the legs! We'll embark on the journey to Ledvattsfjällen, a local mountain known for its treeless summit. Prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking views that extend beyond the horizon. As nightfall approaches, you'll be rewarded with the most awe-inspiring campsite view. |
As we begin our journey back, you'll notice the comforting embrace of Lapland's wilderness. You'll breath in the refreshing air and hear the delightful sounds of nature. It's likely that you'll come across reindeer and various species of wild birds repeatedly, adding to the charm of the experience.

| As we approach the home base, a sense of peacefulness washes over you, accompanied by a flood of wonderful emotions. The final kilometers back are always filled with laughter and enjoyment, creating lasting memories. | |
NB! If the group agrees, you will be accompanied by one of our long-distance racing Siberian huskies. Of course, when the weather is not too hot.

Tips for your experience to be at its best:| How long is the hike? | Your daily distance is from 5 km to 25 km in an easy pace. |
| What will I be eating? | You have a variety of hiking food. Both vegan and meat are available. Please let us know with special requests. |
| Where shall I sleep? | We will spend the nights outdoors on camping sites where everyone will sleep in their preferred way. Note that your sleeping gear is for you to bring and carry. |
